In the experience of attending the season opening concert, I couldn't help but delve into contemplating the essence of music and its significance in our lives. Music, as an art form, utilizes the combination of sound and rhythm as its medium to evoke our emotions and thoughts.

As I listened to those musical notes, I felt the presence of something beyond language and logic. Music is a language that directly accesses the depths of our souls, invoking our memories, stirring our emotions, and igniting waves of contemplation.

Amongst the pieces performed, Jake Heggie's "Fire" resonated with me the most. Through the music, I felt the power and energy of fire. It ignited brightness and passion while simultaneously having the ability to destroy and vanish. This depiction of contradictions made me contemplate the ups and downs of life and its constant transformations.

Moreover, the collaboration between Joshua Bell and Jaap van Zweden during this concert further deepened my reflections on "resonance." As Jaap's baton and Bell's notes intertwined on stage, their music wove together like a shared language, blending their emotions and thoughts. This collaboration made me realize that we share a certain commonality with others, and music becomes the vessel for this connection.

This concert has reinforced my belief that music is a philosophical medium that stimulates our thinking and understanding of the world. It transcends the limitations of language and communicates emotions, thoughts, and human wisdom in its unique way.
